Overview
Welcome to our Sunday reflection! Today’s service was filled with resurrection hope, with worship that pointed us to the risen Christ and a powerful message, “A Crown for a Cross,” delivered by Rev. Message Highlights
- Point 1: Rev. Greg highlighted Luke 24:25-26, where Jesus gently rebukes the disciples for being slow to believe all the prophets had spoken. He explained that the Messiah had to suffer before entering His glory.
- Point 2: In verse 27, Jesus opened the Scriptures from Moses through the Prophets and showed how everything pointed to Him— the cross was the price, and the crown of resurrection was the victory.
Reflection
Luke 24:26 really stood out: “Did not the Messiah have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?” Rev. Greg’s message made it crystal clear—the cross wasn’t a mistake or a tragedy; it was the divine plan that unlocked the crown. Without the suffering, there would be no glory. That truth brings such comfort and hope!
